This past Monday, I geeked out for a full day over all things lingerie and attended CurveNY. It was my first experience at a trade show and I didn’t know what to expect. A chaotic mess of bras, undies and half nude models walking around? Well, there were half nude models, but it wasn’t a mess at all. Not even 30 minutes went by when I ran into Pamela Cooper. She attended my bra workshop in June and just launched a new collection. I ended up spending the rest of the day with her and it was such a treat as it was so much easier to visit booths with a partner in crime. Thank you Pamela! As we were leaving, we also ran into Monica of harMonica design. I’ll be recapping my experience, including my favorite brands, next week, so I won’t say too much today. It was a much needed day of inspiration and I came back with a head full of ideas.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and is able to squeeze in some sewing. It can be tough during the summer when the outdoors is calling for ya!
