How i Wore It: Cleaning

how I wore it the details How i Wore It: Cleaning
How do you clean? Do you wear sweats? An oversized tee? Scrunchie socks? Well, I do it a little bit differently. I wear wedding dresses (I have two), sip wine, and dance to really bad tunes. Birds may even chirp. If you’re going to get sh** done, why not do it in style, right?

I think I’ve taken blogging and outfit posts to a whole new level.

Hahaha I’ve never seen that before. For me it depends on what kind of cleaning. If it’s reorganizing and such I like to dress up (no wedding dresses here though) because it puts me in a neat and organized frame of mind. If its more down and dirty cleaning it normally happens in my PJs or other old clothes. I actually don’t own any sweats :o.

High heels when washing up. Only time I can wear them as it doesn’t require actually walking in them! My sisters and I call dressing up to do house chores as “doing a Mandy”. Mandy was an old character from Brit soap Hollyoaks and she’d always be dolled up to the nines whilst doing the hoovering or dusting!

This is the best thing I’ve seen in ages! Now I want to finish my cleaning in my wedding dress.

I love you. I think I may do this when unpacking my apartment tonight, because then it won’t be so overwhelming, right? LOVE that wedding dress, by the way!

This is wonderful. Would you do it with the real thing though? I used to do the ironing (with a glass of wine, and) in my wedding dress all the time after I first got married, but am so busy with growing children that I had forgotten. I might get it out again.

Hahaha, oh you did take it to another level Madalynne! I love this, haha. I mostly clean with my hear up in a ponytail, leggings and a cami, just FYI ;) x

Adore that dress on you! In college, my roommates and I would put on our formal dresses to clean the house – something about it is just so motivating!

Haha, this is AMAZING! I’ve been telling my friends that we need to have wedding dress parties. You know – just do normal get together stuff. Watch movies, eat snacks, girl talk. All while wearing our wedding dresses. I love my dress and would take any excuse to wear it on a normal basis!

Ha ha…I’m usually in my least favorite clothes when I clean up around the house. Your way is definitely much more fun!
