Lingerie Stocking Stuffers: DIY Lavender Sachet

best lingerie gifts

Have you ever smelled a moth-infested garment? Do a happy dance if you haven’t because it not only reeks, but it is filled with toxins. Good news, there’s a cheap and super easy way to keep your clothes, including lingerie (ahem… Nina Bralette and Panty), smelling fresh. It’s a DIY lavender sachet! Fun fact for the day –  lavender repels moths, fleas, flies, mosquitoes and bed bugs. You don’t have to use lavender either; you could make a bundle of several different dried flowers for a great, handmade gift this holiday.

To make your own, just fill the small bag with dried lavender flowers, which you can find at Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s or any herb store. Seriously, the hardest part is figuring out where to buy the bags. I got mine at Michaels and chose one with sparkles. Because everything is better when it shines ; )

I just thought I should clarify—moths don’t smell or emit toxins, but mothballs definitely do both. They’re toxic to humans and animals too, so please don’t use them!
