MEN OF THE CLOTH: A Film on Italian Master Tailors

MEN OF THE CLOTH is an independently produced documentary film about three Italian master tailors whose passion and pride in their old world craft is akin to a religion. The film premiered at DOC NYC, the largest documentary film festival in America — and has screened theatrically and at festivals around the world.  It features Ardmore master tailor Joe Centofanti and his apprentice, Philly native Joe Genuardi. Joe Centofanti was profiled in the Inquirer and was the tailor to former ambassador Walter Annenberg.

    I saw it in Bryn Mawr last year and found it very moving. Director Vicki Vasilopoulos was a delight to talk to as well.
