Attention London, UK, and all European folks! Good news! The ladies of The New Craft House will be hosting a Bra Making Workshop this February, teaching how to make the Madalynne X Simplicity 8228 and 8229 patterns (read more about each pattern here). Truly, I had such a great time co-hosting a workshop last May, and

Up until this point, I’ve only shown alterations/variations for the 8228 bralette pattern (see below for links), one of the two lingerie patterns I released with Simplicity in August. Don’t get the impression that I have anything against you underwires ladies! Yes, it’s no secret that as a 32B, I prefer soft over underwire bras

To keep the momentum going for the Simplicity x Madalynne lingerie patterns, I’m hosting a sew along on Bra Making Forum, a Facebook group Natasha and I started in February 2015 and has surprisingly grown to over 5,000 members. It’s a closed group where you can post what you’ve made, get instant feedback on your projects, read

I’m super psyched that the Madalynne X Simplicity patterns are finally available for y’all to make and sew. Not just because I’m excited to see what you make, but because I’m excited to inundate you with all the different things you can do with these two patterns. My goal was to create basic lingerie patterns that could be transformed

Behind the Scenes: Madalynne x Simplicity Video

I can’t tell you exactly why just yet, but I’m sure you all are smart cookies and will be able to figure it out. This past weekend, the Simplicity team and I spent some quality time together at Madalynne Studios. If you didn’t hear the news, we teamed up to create 2 lingerie patterns, which will

SNEAK PEAK: Simplicity Patterns X Madalynne

SNEAK PEEK! Over the past year, I’ve been working with Simplicity on 2 exclusive lingerie patterns. They’re not in stores yet – they’re coming soon – so I can’t say much. What I CAN tell you, however, is that students at my summer and fall workshops will be the first to try. There will be both a soft and an underwire bra. You may even get to sew the pattern before they’re released. Interested in attending? See the class schedule here and sign up!

This year has been a big year for me. First the collaboration with Urban Outfitters and now this partnership with Simplicity? Pinch me! My vision has ALWAYS been to offer a way for people to either buy or make my products. Not everyone knows how to sew, and some sewists like to shop RTW. That’s why I have set out on a mission to provide both, and I’m almost there.
