Sports Bras: My Favorites

sports bras1 Sports Bras: My Favorites

To complement yesterday’s post (scroll down to see), here are some of my favorite sports bras. The top two sports bras are plain and boring. I know, I know. I recommend them because Lululemon and Athleta make awesome sports bras. They last for ages (I have had mine for over the recommended limit of 6 months) and they keep the girls in place throughout a workout. And isn’t the floral one so lovely? She’s (yes, I referred to her as she and not it) from American Eagle. Who would have guessed, right?!

Hi there! Just wanted to say thanks for stopping by my blog and taking the time to comment. Also, to answer your question, the Jean-ius class is one of the online classes offered over at Craftsy. Basically, the instructions are for how to clone your best-fitting pair of jeans to make a sewing pattern so you can knock it off as many times as you want! I’m not that far along in it, but it’s very informative so far!

I’ll have to check out Crafsty. It sounds very interesting. Just like sports bras, jeans are a different breed of clothing.

      P.S. Thanks for writing back!

I’m a huge runner, and my friends swear by Moving Comfort sports bras. I guess you can get specific sizes for the best support. I worked for Nike when I lived in LA, and so I have an entire drawer full of sports bras. They’re way past six months years old, but I have so many I probably only wear them once or twice a month. They should break down more slowly with less use, right?

Also, I’m not sure what your question was to the commenter above, but I also enjoyed the Jean-ius class. I’ve yet to follow through with any of the lessons, but I’m looking forward to it once I get through with my SWAP.

I have never heard of Moving Comfort sports bras. I’ll have to check them out.

Yes, if you wear sports bras less, they should have a longer life. The six month rule is just a rule of thumb. I have found that my Lululemon sports bras last much longer but that’s because they’re made very well.

You worked for Nike in LA? How fabulous!

OH! I adore that aerie one as well… just the right amount of sporty spice for me – apparently there isn’t a ban against feminine work out gear… and this makes it nice if I choose to NOT work out… at least I know my underpinnings are pretty! Thanks again for your pretty posts!
