My loves, it’s Easter weekend and I hope that you will be treating yourself to lots and lots of treats. A dear old friend will be in town (she’s passing through Philly on her way to her family’s house for Easter). We’ll be out and about on Saturday, stopping here for some vintage wares, stopping here for some stationary (I love writing letters. They’re way better than emails), stopping here for used movies, and stopping here to end the day by treating ourselves to breakfast for dinner. On Sunday, I hope squeeze in my normal Sunday ritual (click here to see what it is) before Easter dinner (no church for me. My one Hail Mary at night is enough).

What are you up to my loves? Please share…

And have you checked out my new Facebook page? Click here to see it and if you “like” it, I can bug you with wonderful status updates.

Hi! I started following your blog about a month ago and am really enjoying all the posts! I was over at your facebook page, and just noticed that you live very close to where I used to live in Philly..I lived 44th and Spruce sts. Now I live in Japan, but I miss Philly sometimes (not always, don’t miss the sound of siren). Anyway, I love your blog, and look forward to a new post:)

You lived it Philadelphia! And you sure did live close. Isn’t West Philly wonderful? I wouldn’t live anywhere else in the city. If you ever make it back here, please let me know. I’ll treat you to coffee or tea and a nice chat.

I used to hate it when I was younger as everyone was blonde and tan but I have grown to like it more and more. I now love my red hair and white skin and wouldn’t dare dying it.

Sounds like a lovely Easter weekend! I’m visiting my parents, who are taking me to Italy for the weekend. 4 hours drive but a world of difference concerning the weather. So lovely!

Oh how I would love to be in Italy for Easter instead of Philly! What a dream! I’m so very jealous.
