about, holy smokes, where did this week go? I swear, time flies when you’re sewing. I remember fall hitting last Sunday at 4:44 p.m. EST and somehow, I got here, Friday morning. I’m working on two new and exciting projects that my mind has has been consumed with thoughts like, “how am I going to finish that edge?” or “I must read those directions one more time” and I’ve forgotten what day or week it is. One project is bra related and one is dyeing related, but both are taking what I already know and using that knowledge in a new way. It’s exhausting but fun to expand on what you’ve learned, and it’s also exhilarating to jump out of our comfort zone while still staying in it. Does that make any sense? In any case, life right now for me is a “hang on tight, Maddie, it’s going to be a wild ride.”

With all the sewing, dyeing, and bra making going on in the Land O’ Madalynne, I must ask, what’s on your sewing table?

Oh, and keep your eyes open next week because my 3rd Japanese dress will be making an appearance.

It’s going to be 88 degrees here tomorrow no fall in sight. I could do with a little bit of cold weather. Nothing on my sewing table right now. Just finished sewing the uppers of 3 pairs of shoes. I should be working on one of the projects I have cut out though. I have 2 t shirts a skirt and a peacoat pending.

I’m so envious of this gorgeous autumnal mood and color. You blend right in! I miss fall, we just skip right past it. (Still summer.) Oh goodness, we are floating in the same universe–dyeing and bra-making–don’t they suck you right in?
